Contacts Journal CRM Lite App Reviews

Before the functionality…

Half of the app is not optimized for retina display. Nobody wants to use old-fashioned app. I dont understand why there are developers that dont restrict enough their modern customers. Especially, since there are two models of iPhones since 3GS graphics. Old look – old feeling.

Still playing with it but good

So far good for quick notes etc. I ask for a password and maybe reminders

Not Working

With me as soon as I open the app, the screen is pitch black and I cant do anything.

Using as a Hairstylist

Ive been a hairstylist since 2008. This Application is awesome for client information... contacts, color formulations and for products

Very nice

Nice app. But as soon as I saw the upgrade price I deleted it. Ive already got Bento.

$9.99 upgrade

It looks like it would be a good app, its just way overpriced

Over priced

Only allows a very small amount of testing before demanding you pay $19.99 to upgrade to full version. The app itself is definitely not worth the ridiculous price tag these greedy developers have affixed to it. Not impressed.

Very frustrating

I simply cannot figure out how to create a private group of contacts that don’t show up in my phone contacts list. Frustrating.

Great app!

I have been using this for a while now and it is totally worth the price. Suggestion: in the ToDos, it would be nice to include a Follow-up option in the rolling menue. The options offered in this rolling menu are just off a bit for my humble needs (Sales warrior). I I open my quotes from Quick Sale in Cjournal and add it to a certain customer, it would be just perfect to assign a follow-up. Great Job Team!

Underwhelmed

Dont like the way it syncs. When a contact is edited in contacts it doesnt make the change in cjournal. When syncing iPhone & iPad - I end up with duplicates and triplicates.

Not bad.

Its not bad and getting better slowly. Things that would be nice to add are. - Cloud documents access for emailing. - Make document attachment easier, when emailing documents to someone, why would I need access to other peoples files? Make access default to this contact only. Its easy to screw up and attach something else, privacy issue. - Also, why default Apple Mail client only? Not all people use this poor app. There are others, much better. - I keep getting to do notifications for past events, even when clearing those. Bug? Thanks for developing this. Its getting better. Keep up good work.

Very useful but the pro version too expensive!!!!

Appe well done and organized! One of the best if you serach something to manage contacts and their activities. But 20€ for the promversione is really too much. Im sorry for that.

Problems

Every time I enter a client program crashes.

Req Access to Contacts??? NO!!!

So I downloaded the free version of this app to take it for a test drive... I was aware that one could import ones Contacts into the program BUT IT REQUIRES access to your Contacts to even create a new contact within this App... WHAT??? I wasnt thrilled with the separate Apps for iPhone and iPad, then to read that there is no syncing between the two Apps (why pay extra if the two apps cant share data?), and now they REQUIRE access to my Contacts in order to even create a customer within this App??? No Thank You... DELETED!!! So glad I discovered this prior to dropping $10-$30 on this App.

Great! But.....

I loved the lite version...however as soon as I turned on the "lock" screen I wan never able to access the app again. It would load but only to the splash screen where the password would be asked for - I could even put in my password but the app wouldnt load - so I would love to go to the full version but dont wan to spend a bunch of time configuring the thing to never get back in.

Worthless if using MS Exchange

cannot work with exchange contacts. Its too bad, because I liked the layout.

Good value

This one is free and simple.

Definitely try lite version b4 you buy

Black screen in startup..

Doesnt Really Sync - More Accurately does Cross-device Backup and Restore

I bought both the iPhone and iPad versions of the app. Like the paid apps, the Universal Lite app has a Backup and full Restore function, but no true syncing across iOS devices, let alone automatic syncing (like Day One and many other apps do.) If you make any updates on both iOS, you will lose the updates on either your iPhone or your iPad upon doing a Save to Dropbox and then a Restore from Dropbox on each device. This means to keep the app on each device in sync, youd have to save to Dropbox after each contact update, and then restore from Dropbox on your other device before making any updates on that second device. I havent used the app enough to comment on the the complaints about the handling of locations and reported app bugs. Giving two stars for now. Ive requested auto sync functionality of the developer.

Password Issue

Great app! I was about to upgrade but then I noticed an issue when the password is enabled. After I close out of the app and then restart, it gives the user a "quick" peek inside of the last page that was opened. For some people that may be okay but for me its a problem. Ill definitely check back for future updates. Again, great app..
